Evidence: Climate Changing …

Finally, after days of rain, and more slipping on the ridge end at the end of my road, I went for a walk in the cold sunshine along to the lookout in Kelburn, next to the Cable Car. What a beaut view!
All that snow, in September – well, no wonder it was so cold when I got up this morning!

Anyone who wants to tell me climate change isn’t happening can just trot out and look at that lovely snow, and explain to me why Wellington, a once-in-twenty-years snow zone in Winter, is now getting spring snow. That used to be the exclusive right of ski-fields like the Remarkables, where I have skied on Labour Weekend. [ some years ago now, but it was quite commonly advertised. ]

Perhaps there’s an opening for some enterprising person to switch opinions, and develop a patch of the Wainui hills into a future new seasonal ski field?
